We miss you Seattle

So, we haven't posted anything in a while and I don't have any pics to upload (I do, but that will come later). We've survived a cross country move with an 8 month old. Poor Jason did all the hard work making the long drive from Seattle to Austin, but he did it in 3 days.

All I wanted to write was that we really truly miss all our Seattle peeps. We love you guys. Simon does too. This has been a very bitter sweet time. It feels a little isolating being in our old/new hood in Austin. We can't walk anywhere--we walked to the store the other day and that just sucked. Somehow, Austin has managed to take on Seattle like weather in the middle of summer when it's usually hot as hell. We've had more rain this year than 2005 & 2006 combined. It's helped with the transition I think to come home to lush, green everything and only upper 80s (for now). But there is a whopper of humidity here. Not complaining though, it should be 102.

More later. Have a nice latte for us. Jason and I think of ya'll all the times. Oh--Simon is crawling all over the damn place, pulling himself up and keeping us on our toes. I think we might try swaddling/straight jacket tactics again soon. :-)
