Shower #1--Austin

We had just 3 1/2 short days in Austin for a whirlwind tour of baby showers and catching up. Our first stop was to go directly to Chuy's (yes!) and meet Uncle Dale, Aunt Becky and our newest addition Wesley. We also left with an ENTIRE TRASH BAG of baby clothes and other necessities from little Wes. Then raced to Mack Ray's house to watch UT not play to terribly well against Ohio and finally crashed.

Sunday we headed to Steve & Donna Katz' who hosted our first official shower. The decorations were adorable, food was fantastic and the turnout was great. I can't believe how many family and friends made it out to be with us, we are truly grateful! In all the excitement I did a very poor job of picture taking or even asking someone else to do that for me, so here are just a few from that afternoon. I don't have any pics of all my cousins who came from Seguin/San Antonio, our wonderful hosts (Grandpa and Grandma Katz --or other TBD name) or Grandpa Doerfler and Cindy (another name TBD), etc. To say we were overwhelmed with everyone's generosity and efforts to be with us would be an understatement.
