Mount St. Helen's; oh, and Justin

Two months exactly from today is Ash's Due date. Simon will be in our lives, maybe, and then the fun begins. Yikes. That's the last time I move to Seattle. See what happens. We still have just a crib and a stroller but is there anything else we really have to have?

Our buddy Justin flew in from Austin and spent a few days with us. I got to have a guys night out. On Sunday we drove him to Portland and stopped at Mt. St. Helen on a side trip. It's pretty awesome even through the haze. Not the greatest photos of it but you get the idea. The whole side of the mountain just collapsed and rushed into the valley below, into a lake and pushed all the water 800 feet up the side of another mountain. The ash and debris made a 12 mile column into the sky. It's really cool to see all of the new growth from the past 26 years. Speaking of new growth, we took a 2.5 mile hike and Ash got sweaty so took off her T. I had to sneak the shot and I'm sure she won't be happy this one made the blog but what's she gonna do?

We're in Austin next Saturday. Very excited to see all. It's been 10 months since we last were there. Okay, ciao.
