Simon goes to Alaska

It's kind of sad to get to Alaska and only see Anchorage. It was amazing to hear how the state manages to provide health care to the many native Alaskans who live in the 200+ villages you can only reach by plane or boat, depending on the weather.

The first picture was taken when I walked around the Cook Inlet. The second is the view of the Cook Inlet from my hotel window; I think I took that one at about 10:30 p.m. on a rainy day.

We felt our first earthquake our last morning there, about 5 a.m. It was just a little one, around 4.0, but enough to wake me up and it lasted about 15 seconds.

Didn't get a picture of the giant Alaskan crab legs I ate nor the fabulous Native Alaskan masseuse who gave me the best massage of my life. Muy fuerte.
