First "Solid" Food

Sweet Potatoes. Simon's first meal on the day of his sixth month of life, May 5th. He made faces at first and wasn't quite sure what to think but he took to it. He even took the spoon and fed himself a bite or two. A lot did get into his mouth but as you can see plenty ended up elsewhere. At breakfast today he ate bananas in an impromptu feeding. He really liked those.
