Simon is an excellent kayaker with lots of room for improvement in the golf dept. (Kayak picture was blurry) but our trip down the Wenatchee with Chris and Sarah was so much fun; although once we hit a few rapids that water was so damn cold--makes Barton Springs more like bath water.

This is a few hours outside of Seattle, and it's dramatically different in terms of pace, people and weather. I believe it's officially considered canyon desert. It was uber HOT the afternoon we played on this course, high 90s but no humidity. It's actually a serious putt putt course on a regular golf course (no wimpy windmills here).

As I write this I'm in my 23rd week so we're almost to the 6 month mark. I feel pretty great, still watching with awe as the scale goes up another pound every week.
