Support us at the Buddy Walk for the Central Texas Downs Syndrome Society

This is Simon and his 2nd cousin, Wes "playing" Mimi's piano. They have such different personalities, you can see one is a sweet little angel and one is a demon monstor, but cute. I'll let you guess which is which.

I love this photo of Wes, he is such a cutie! We are joining Wes in the Annual Buddy Walk to raise money for the Downs Syndrome Society, please support us at this link:

Clap Your Hands (and say yeah)

The Yogurt Smile

Simon's never had a trouble in the food dept. We're still making most of his food though we get some help from Gerber. Our menu typically includes: baby oatmeal with fresh fruit, nectarines, peaches, pineapple, banana, applesauce, white beans, kidney beans, spinach (loves!), sweet potatoes, red potatoes, eggplant (loves!), tomatoes, cheerios, goldfish--the cracker (another favorite), yo baby yogurt, fake chicken nuggets, roasted chicken, bell peppers, grapes, blueberries, pasta, hummus, baba ganoush, cucumber, apricots. And that's just for lunch!

Now some of the "whole foods" he tries his best to swallow but they just keep getting pushed out of his mouth since there are no back teeth. there is a nice supply on the floor and in all the crevices of his high chair. We're savig those in case we get flooded in for days and cannot get to the store. You never know.

Oops, gotta go, Simon just crawled BEHIND the couch and got stuck.

9 1/2 months--out longer than in!

This is a pretty good picture of the Katz man most of the time...an absolute mess.

I cannot believe how big he's gotten. He'll be trying on mommy's dresses any day now.

Just thought this was cute of the two men. Simon is so close to walking...don't get any ideas from this picture, he'll let you confine him to that small a space for maybe 2 minutes every 2 weeks.
